Inner Harbor Baltimore Rendezvous

Inner Harbor East Marina
August 14-15

David Dobbins, Scarlett

We are going to repeat the gratifying experience we had at Inner Harbor East Marina in Baltimore, captained last year by Kim Wolkins and Bryan Armentrout. Inner Harbor East Marina is located at the base of Little Italy and is the closest marina to Inner Harbor and Fells Pt. (N 39 16’ 530 W 76 36’ 100; monitor on VHF 68.) It has brand new bath/shower facilities, lounge, and offices.

Schedule

Saturday Aug. 14

Inner Harbor We plan to have contributed cocktails and Hors d’Oeuvres starting at 4:00 pm on the “party dock”, around which most of us will be tied up. After this, we have a group reservation at 6:30 pm at the award winning Amiccis restaurant located at 231 S. High St. in Little Italy. (Click on map to right for directions.) You can order your selection from the menu (check web site). Most dinners are under $20. Drinks, taxes, and gratuity are extra. You can come by land or sea to the restaurant, however, I need to place reservations by Aug. 11, so let me know if you will join us at the restaurant.

After the restaurant, we can all return to the “party dock” and listen to the sounds of the Inner Harbor concert featuring the Key West Band (a Jimmy Buffet tribute band) or walk to the amphitheater in Inner Harbor to see the concert (free). Of course there are a host of other activities you can do all within walking distance to the marina.

Sunday Aug. 15

For those who may be interested, there is a very nice Sunday Brunch (11-2:30pm) at the James Joyce Irish Pub.
